Trewirgie Junior School

WELCOME FROM THE GOVERNORS

On behalf of the Governing Body I would like to welcome all parents and guardians to our thriving and successful school.

We are proud to be associated with the children and staff of Trewirgie Junior School and believe that the children here receive an excellent education in a nurturing and happy environment.

We constantly challenge our practice to ensure that we continue to develop and grow as a school.

Mr. Phil Jones

Chair of Governors

The governors of Trewirgie Junior School believe it is important that boards reflect the diversity of the school community it serves. We recognise that a diverse board promotes an inclusive school environment and provides diverse role models for staff and young people.

The governors are currently collecting data on the diversity of the board, including data on age, gender and ethnicity. They will use that data to inform their recruitment and training needs and ensure there is always a diverse range of perspectives around the table to support robust decision making.

Due to our relatively small governing board, we will not publish this diversity data online as individual governors could be identified and we have a legal obligation to protect their personal data

To contact the Governing Body please phone 01209 215238 or email clerk@tjschool.co.uk

Agenda and board minutes are available on request from the clerk
